Yunho serves as a subject matter expert and is a founding member and Member of the Board of OTS R&D. He is co-director at University of Maryland’s CEEE and long-serving Chief Science Officer at Optimized Thermal Systems.

An expert in HVAC&R optimization, refrigerant evaluation, emissions modeling, and experimentation, Yunho has helped shape numerous policies as a consultant for governments and organizations globally and leads many technical committees. He is an expert in Life Cycle Climate Performance (LCCP) analysis, a comprehensive approach that considers emissions impact over the lifetime of HVAC and refrigeration equipment and is well versed in the intricacies of complex system evaluation.
