OTS R&D saw a specific need to support the industry in understanding compressor operation and incorporating component data for the purposes of better understanding system performance.

Our compressor calorimeter enables testing of individual compressors including single speed, variable-speed and vapor-injection designs. With the capability to test multiple refrigerants, including A2L and A3 classifications such as propane, under a wide variety of operating conditions, including ambient temperature, mass flow rate, and vapor injection rate, our compressor calorimeter is well-suited to fully characterize compressor performance.
