Cara brings heart and optimism to her leadership of OTS R&D’s talented thermal engineering team. After earning her Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, Cara launched her career in Albany NY, consulting on energy efficiency solutions. She returned home to Maryland in 2013 to support the OTS mission and company development. Cara is a member owner of OTS R&D.

As CEO, Cara now focuses her skills on leading the OTS R&D team in its delivery of optimized performance and innovative solutions. When not envisioning the company’s next big breakthrough, she’s often debating intricate Pixar plot points with her family or lacing up her sneakers to run adventures with her canine companions.

With a drive to keep moving forward and a spirit to make the impossible possible, Cara draws inspiration from her team and industry innovation to lead OTS R&D and its clients into the future.
