With a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with focus on Energy and Environmental engineering, Bobin brings a unique perspective, along with his enthusiasm, to OTS R&D. He has previously held roles as a process and flow assurance consultant and chemical research engineer and is well-versed in performing hydraulic and energy system modeling.

At OTS R&D, Bobin provides technical support for Optimized Thermal Systems’ CoilDesigner® and VapCyc® software for the modeling of heat exchanger coils and vapor compression system analysis. He performs system-level analyses and evaluates heat exchanger designs providing clients with recommendations for improving performance. Bobin also conducts rigorous optimization studies and evaluates the impacts of refrigerant or component changes.

He has experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) applying Ansys Fluent. Bobin holds certificates in programming in Python and MATLAB. When away from his computer, Bobin enjoys reading and is always ready to play soccer or ping-pong.
