System Design and Analysis

Optimizing performance, selecting a low-GWP refrigerant, and minimizing system cost are critical in meeting today’s product requirements and market demands. The OTS R&D team uses a variety of tools and approaches to address system design and analysis for both steady-state and transient challenges. Our work focuses on vapor compression systems for HVAC&R applications but also includes enhancements for conventional configurations as well as not-in-kind technologies.
